As you know our home and guest house were recently recognized by The Historic Aiken Foundation as winners of the Wilds-Lipe Treasured Homes Award for preservation and restoration of one of Aiken's older homes. We feel great about the Award and how everything turned out.

The combination of a good plan and Larlee Construction has given us a home that we love. When guests visit and they stay in the guest house they feel right at home-and it's not the furnishings- it was your work and suggestions that make it a true "southern home". The attention to detail, your ability to work with the city, and your suggestions on materials all gave our home the little extra missing in many new homes today. Working with a foundation built in 1938 that had several lives, from a home and office to the SPCA, gave you challenges that many contractors would run away from. Your crew handled each stage of construction professionally and on time.
